How to add files?

In Infino Legal, you can store files in various formats (Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint, .png, .jpeg, .gif, .tiff, .txt, .csv). Files can be added to specific cases or without attaching them to a specific case. This allows for the inclusion of different types of files that the office possesses. 

Additionally, there is an option to preview files directly within the system. This provides quick access to the file content without the need to download and open them in external programs. 

Add Files from the Main Menu 

To add a file from the main menu: 

  1. Click on the Files tab in the main menu and select “Add file”. 
  2. Drag and drop files within the rectangle or click to select them from your computer. 
  3. Specify the file tag. It is possible to add custom file tags (instructions below). 
  4. Choose the case to which you want to add the files or leave the field blank. 
  5. Select the task to which you want to attach the file (optional). 
  6. Fill in the note field (optional). 
  7. Finally, click “Upload”.

Add files to a proceeding 

To add a file to a proceeding: 

  1. Go to the proceeding to which you want to add files. 
  2. Select the Files tab and use the “Add files” button. 
  3. Drag and drop files within the rectangle or click to select them from your computer. 
  4. Specify the file tag (optional). 
  5. Choose the task to which you want to attach the file (optional). 
  6. Fill in the note field (optional). 
  7. Finally, click “Upload”. 

File preview 

To view the content of a file: 

  1. Go to the Files tab -> Shared Files from the main menu or to the Files tab within a specific case. 
  2. Click on the file name you want to preview and review its contents. 

Edit files 

To edit a file: 

  1. Go to the Files tab -> Shared Files from the main menu or to the Files tab within a specific case. 
  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the item you want to edit, then select “Edit”. 
  3. Make the necessary changes and click “Save” at the end. 

Choose file tags 

To add file tags: 

  1. Go to the Files tab -> File Tags. 
  2. Click the “Add tag” button. 
  3. Enter the tag name and click “Save”. 

Download files 

  1. Go to the Files tab -> Shared files from the main menu or to the Files tab within a specific proceeding. 
  1. Click the three-dot icon next to the item you want to download, then select “Download”. 
  1. The file will be saved in the default folder on your computer. 

 

Add new versions of files 

  1. Go to the Files tab -> Shared files from the main menu or to the Files tab within a specific case. 
  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the item you want to update, then select “Add new version”. 
  3. Drag and drop files within the rectangle or click to select them from your computer. 
  4. Finally, click “Upload”. 

Delete files 

  1. Go to the Files tab -> Shared files from the main menu or to the Files tab within a specific case. 
  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the item you want to delete, then select “Delete”. 
  3. Finally, click “Delete”. 

You no longer need to keep files on your computer’s hard drive. Just upload them to the system. Solvbot provides the ability to securely store and quickly preview files of various types. In other words, you save disk space and ensure data security.
