How to create a task in a proceeding?

 Infino Legal allows you to create tasks for cases from various places in the system. The first method allows you to create a task from the Tasks tab in the main menu, and the second method is from the Tasks tab within a specific case. The easiest way to create a task is by clicking the “+” icon in the top right corner of the screen. 

Creating a Task within a Proceeding 

When creating a task within a case, you don’t need to specify which case the task belongs to as this information is automatically retrieved. 

To create a task within a proceeding: 

  1. From the left menu, select Proceeding -> Proceeding list. 
  2. Then search for or select a specific case from the list. 
  3. Go to the Tasks tab. 
  4. Click “Create Task” -> “New Task”. 
  5. Enter the title and optionally provide a description for the task. 
  6. Check the options if the task has high priority or if you want to monitor its progress. 
  7. Specify the person responsible for completing the task. 
  8. Select the category to which the task should be related (Proceeding, Correspondence, Component of insolvency estate, Claims, Account receivables). 
  9. Specify the task status. 
  10. Fill in the user fields or create custom fields by clicking “Add or modify available fields”. 
  11. Set the task deadline. You can also set a reminder. 
  12. Finally, click “Save”. 

Creating a Task from the Main Menu 

  1. Navigate to the Tasks tab from the main menu and select “Create New Task”. 
  2. Enter the title and optionally provide a description for the task. 
  3. Check the options if the task has high priority or if you want to monitor its progress. 
  4. Specify the person responsible for completing the task. 
  5. Select the category to which the task should be related (Proceeding, Correspondence, Component of insolvency estate, Claims, Account receivables). 
  6. Specify the task status. 
  7. Fill in the user fields or create custom fields by clicking “Add or Modify Available Fields”. 
  8. Set the task deadline. You can also set a reminder. 
  9. Finally, click “Save”.
